Usually I do nothing on Friday nights, except come home from teaching and "chill out" (that means 'have a rest', to any of my student readers). But this Friday was an exception, as Zheng Dan Dan, (middle girl in red and white striped top) called and asked to visit, along with Yan Ming (yellow shirt). They were  my students at the Nursing College in 2007 and have since graduated. Zheng Dan Dan works at the hospital in Sanmenxia and Yan Ming at Number One Hospital in Zhengzhou.

Later, that same evening, Ya Ru(black shirt) and Hong Li (pink shirt) appeared to get their last salary and say goodbyes. We had a great time together discussing memories plus the future. While one girl will remain in Zhengzhou the others will go abroad, one to New Zealand, one to California, and one to Singapore.

We pour our lives into these girls as we live and work together. We are so proud of all of them. We've had good days and we've had a few not so good days, but through it all respect and friendship lasts forever!!!
